When i plug into shore power all ac circuits works fine.
Rv generator and awning no power.
Oddly no power to the outlet.
The ac power control panel distributes this power to the appliances and outlets that use ac power for example the air conditioner.
Went back out to finish poking around with the awning and boom it had power.
There answered by a verified rv mechanic.
So i tripped the gfci checked the awning no power.
Ac power comes into the rv from your generator or from the campground or other outlet you plug it into.
A generator can develop a mechanical issue all over sudden for instance for instance you find an rv generator runs but no power.
I reset the gfci plugged in the clock and set the time.
Plugged in the coffee maker which ran fine for about 30 secs then stopped.
Checked all breakers on the house panel and all were good.
Problems may either be in the external power source e g.
Generator kept running but there was no ac power.
So the awning power is in the same line as the gfci.
In most cases what results to portable generators not to produce power could be due to loss of residual magnetism.
A generator delivering too low or too high current or within the rv if say a faulty device starts to draw excessive current.
No power to the awning slide out or stabilizer jacks.
So i checked the gfci in the master bath and sure enough it was tripped.
Due to this tripped breakers or blown fuses are just a sign of a problem not the cause of the problem itself.
My generator runs well but won t power the ac system.
